01 Our Story
Newply has supplied panels in Piliyandala since 1998. That is 28 years of learning which mills hold their thickness and which boards suit the job.
We buy on the edge and stack on the edge. Every sheet sits on an open rack where you can inspect it before you pay. Bring a caliper and check the thickness yourself.
Carpenters, contractors, designers and walk-in customers all buy from the same rack. Newply and Greenply Agencies work from the same office in Piliyandala.
What we supply
Every sheet is 8ft × 4ft (2440 × 1220mm). Pick the family, thickness and quantity. Prices move with the market, so we quote on the day you ask.
Structural and general purpose sheets, local and imported. Shuttering, formwork, roofing, sheathing and general structural work.
Thicknesses: 3, 5, 9, 12, 15mm
Smooth face, even density, made for machining. Cabinetry, wall panelling, furniture and detailed millwork.
Thicknesses: 6, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 25mm
Thin backing board, and the waterproof grade for anywhere that gets wet. Roofing backing, cabinet backs, kitchen and bathroom carcassing.
Thicknesses: 2, 10, 16, 17mm
Finished on both faces, ready to cut and edge. Wardrobes, shopfitting and office furniture, in five colours and grains.

Single and double sided cladding sheet, plus PVC foam board for wet areas and signage.
